MMA Fans Anxiously Await Fedor's Next Move
Fedor Emelianenko, considered by most to be the best heavyweight mixed-martial artist in the world, remains a fighter without a place to call home. Although still the reigning PRIDE heavyweight champ, that distinction is largely meaningless since UFC acquired the struggling Japanese-based fight organization this year. No PRIDE events have been held in months and several of the company's top fighters have signed contracts with UFC.
Where does that leave Fedor, as the fans call him? For now it seems the fighter seems content to field offers from rival organizations. Attempts to finalize a deal with UFC have been slowed down by the Russian's insistence that he be able to continue to compete in Combat Sambo and his management team's insistence that other fighters on their team be brought along as well.
What happens next is anyone's guess. But for fight fans itching to see Fedor mixing it up with UFC Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture, the delays are excruciating. For Fedor to hold onto his perceived place at the top, though, he'd better start fighting soon. Otherwise, fickle fans may soon forget their beloved Fedor.

I’m happy to announce the start of 1fedor.
I love the UFC and I think doing this blog will be a lot of fun.
